Meet Our Washington, DC Dental Team

Vermelle, Office Manager

Vermelle is often the first and last face you will see at our practice! With over 15 years of experience, she loves building relationships with everyone who enters the practice doors and being able to help anxious and nervous patients feel more at-ease. She’s committed to being a friendly and reassuring presence at all of your visits. Vermelle completed her associate degree at PG Community College and her dental assisting education at Fortis College. From assisting dentists with procedures and taking X-rays to managing the front desk and verifying insurance, Vermelle has done it all and is an excellent resource for our patients.

Originally from Prince Georges County, Maryland, Vermelle has two grown children and is an empty nester… well, not if you count her two adorable fur baby cats, Liam and Alikah. In her free time, she enjoys painting, cooking, trying new restaurants, and teaching Sunday school at her church. She also loves doing charity work around the holidays!

Alex, Practice Administrator

For Alex, the best part of his job is helping patients feel confident and at-ease during their visit by helping them effortlessly navigate insurance and financial options. He understands how confusing dental insurance can be, but he enjoys making the process as simple and transparent as possible for patients so they can focus on their health instead of worrying about paperwork. He also helps with other projects behind the scenes to keep the daily schedule running smoothly. Alex attended the University of Pheonix and has years of hands-on experience working in dental offices.

Originally from Miami, Florida, Alex comes from a big, close-knit family. While most of his family doesn’t live nearby, he always stays connected with them, as they continue to be one of his greatest sources of love and encouragement. He lives in DC with his boyfriend, and they make it a priority to keep strong ties to family! Outside of the office, Alex enjoys reading, playing video games, and traveling. One interesting fact about him is that he worked as a certified Emergency Dispatcher for Miami-Dade County after high school!

Brenda, Dental Assistant

Brenda’s favorite part of her career as a dental assistant is being able to sit front-row during treatments and learn new ways to better take care of patients. She is a graduate of Trinity Washington University and has several years of experience in the dental field. She also has training in Level II Dental Assisting, sterilization, and radiology.

Originally from El Salvador, Brenda is a mother to a young daughter and dog. In her free time, she enjoys watching movies, going to the gym, and spending time with her daughter. She’s also bilingual and speaks both Spanish and English.
